 Selena turned 11 this year, and while I sought refuge in my room from the screaming kids, the boys came in to hide, and wanted to learn how to make an owl.  Then the girls did too.  So, after a lot of hard work by the girls, everyone was able to take home a cute little stuffie and we had a lot of fun in the process!

Inception

During the last few months Selena and I have taken up the craft of sock animal making.  I had received one as a gift, and fell in love with us.  When I came across a book at a Scholastic Book Fair I couldn't help but fork out the money for one.

What was once a fun little project to try has become time that we treasure together, creating new little friends for the world to love.  Selena named our new company "The Stuffie Project", and we are busily preparing for our very first tabling event to sell our friends within our community.  I've even had people stopping me on the subway to talk to me about them, asking for a business card.  So, I thought I would start a blog for us to share our creations and our successes along the way.

We even have a logo!

I will post some pictures of our creations on this blog, and keep you updated of our progress in making some fun money doing something we love!
